About me

I'm a product designer working where the stakes are real β€” public safety, healthcare, connected devices. The kind of software where a confusing screen isn't an inconvenience, it's a consequence.

Based in Bangalore, four years into designing for the edges rather than the average: the officer working under duress, the elderly user meeting technology for the first time, the patient at their most vulnerable moment.

Exploring

AI-native design workflows and building my own tools.

After hours

Reading, illustration, and taking more photos than I post.

The roles

Alchi Design Studio, Bangalore. Five patient-management tools for hospitals, nurses and psychologists β€” real clinical surface, not intern work. Aged-care apps built around low-vision and low-confidence users lifted adoption 35%.

  1. Jun 2022 β€” UX Design Intern. Alchi Design Studio, Bangalore. Five patient-management tools for hospitals, nurses and psychologists β€” real clinical surface, not intern work. Aged-care apps built around low-vision and low-confidence users lifted adoption 35%.
  2. Feb 2023 β€” UX Designer. Full-time in under six months. Owned the Sanro Health CTMS end to end: physician and coordinator interviews, an EMR-integrated dashboard scoring patients against inclusion criteria in real time. 40% faster trial matching, 30% higher referral efficiency.
  3. Mar 2024 β€” Senior UX Designer. Intern to Senior in roughly two years. The shift was from executing to deciding β€” owning design risk and UX controls against regulatory requirements, and mentoring the designers doing the work I used to do.
  4. Jun 2024 β€” MView DEMS. Two years leading UX on a digital evidence management system for law enforcement. One coherent experience across web, mobile and kiosk β€” then past the screen into packaging and evidence-handling workflows, because the chain of custody doesn't stop at the interface.
  5. 2026 β€” Dotlet. Designed and built a vector tool solo in ten days β€” specification first, then Figma Make. Shipped for Config Makeathon, then taught as the case study for a Friends of Figma workshop on AI-native workflows.

The upskilling

University of North Carolina

Barbara Fredrickson's course on how positive emotion widens what people notice. The earliest thing here, and the reason I design for states of mind rather than tasks alone.

  1. Jul 2020 β€” Positive Psychology. Barbara Fredrickson's course on how positive emotion widens what people notice. The earliest thing here, and the reason I design for states of mind rather than tasks alone.
  2. Sep 2021 β€” Web Development. HTML, CSS and JavaScript β€” taken before the first design job, so I'd stop handing engineers work I couldn't reason about.
  3. Feb 2022 β€” Digital Marketing. How a product gets found and framed. Useful later for arguing about positioning, not just pixels.
  4. Mar 2022 β€” Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner. IBM's framework for keeping a team pointed at the user β€” collaboration, research, synthesis, prototyping and storytelling as one loop.
  5. Nov 2022 β€” UI / UX. First structured UX training, taken five months into the internship to put names to what I was already doing.
  6. Jan 2023 β€” Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design. The first of the seven. Started it the month I moved into a full design seat β€” formalising what the internship had taught by doing.
  7. Apr 2023 β€” Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define & Ideate. Personas, journey maps and problem statements β€” the discipline of defining the problem before reaching for a solution.
  8. Jul 2024 β€” Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator. The step past Practitioner: contributing on live engagements and taking the lead, rather than applying the framework to your own work alone.
  9. Jul 2024 β€” Build Wireframes & Low-Fidelity Prototypes. Structure before surface β€” getting the flow and hierarchy right while it's still a box on a page.
  10. Oct 2024 β€” Work with Components in Figma. Components, variants and properties β€” the mechanics behind a design system that survives more than one designer.
  11. Nov 2024 β€” Build Dynamic User Interfaces for Websites. Responsive layout and interaction patterns for the web β€” how a design has to bend across breakpoints without losing its logic.
  12. Nov 2024 β€” Create High-Fidelity Designs & Prototypes in Figma. Taking a validated low-fidelity flow through to a prototype an engineer can build from, and a usability session can actually test.
  13. Nov 2024 β€” Conduct UX Research & Test Early Concepts. Study design, moderation, and synthesis β€” testing an idea while it's still cheap to be wrong about it.
  14. Jun 2025 β€” Google UX Design Professional. The full seven-course certificate, closed out. Research through high-fidelity delivery, with a portfolio project at every stage.
  15. Mar 2026 β€” AI Fluency: Framework & Foundations. Anthropic's 4D framework β€” Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence. The vocabulary I'd been missing for why some AI-assisted work lands and some doesn't.
  16. Mar 2026 β€” Claude 101. Prompt construction, constraint-setting, and reading model output critically rather than accepting the first plausible answer.
  17. Apr 2026 β€” AI Fluency for Educators. The 4D framework turned outward β€” built with Prof. Joseph Feller (University College Cork) and Prof. Rick Dakan (Ringling College) for people who have to teach this, not just use it.
